Living in Bali on an Australian pension

An Australian pension goes much further in Bali than it does back in the homeland. Retiring in Bali can cut your basic living roughly costs by around half. Or if you are philanthropically inclined, you might want to volunteer at the orphanages, work with one of the dog charities or help one of the many NGOs on the island. Bobi Smith Investments have several charity projects that they are involved in and are more than happy to advise.

Healthcare in Bali

There are some excellent hospitals in Bali. These are mainly located in the south, although a branch of Bali Med is located an hour from Bamboo Villages in Singaraja.

With plans currently on the table to build an airport in Singaraja thus developing the north in the same way as the south, it will not be long before top hospital groups open clinics in this region too.
